BEFORE YOU ORDER

Straight-cut

The ends of a woven tag or printed clothing label are simply heat sealed with no folding. If you plan to sew all four sides or two ends, this is a perfect label for you. The advantage of this type of label is that it is held snugly against the fabric and does NOT tear off easily.

Mid-fold

This type of woven tag or printed clothing label is made as a long rectangle and folded short-ways in the middle. When both cut ends are sown into the garment fabric, the label hangs down. The advantage of this type of clothing label is that you can include extra information, such as the care instructions, on the backside. The disadvantage is that these type of labels can be ripped off or damaged more easily.

End-folds

The woven label is made like a straight cut, but there is a small amount of sew space on the short ends. These sew spaces are folded, and the sewing takes place underneath the woven label. This allows for a nice finished look without seams exposed to the outside. However, unlike the straight cut, it is not as snugly seated and can be ripped or damaged more easily.
